Learn Amp x NVOY
We sat down with Taylor Williams, Chief Technology Officer at Learn Amp, to talk about what it has been like working with NVOY as the business has grown. Learn Amp brings together learning, engagement and performance in one platform, helping organisations build skills, support career growth and connect performance to business goals.
“With NVOY, we know our infrastructure and security controls are solid.”
As Learn Amp scaled, it needed an IT partner it could genuinely depend on. Rather than building out an in-house IT team, the business wanted a managed provider that could take care of day-to-day IT while supporting the standards expected of a SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 accredited SaaS company.

When support is more hassle than help
Before NVOY, Learn Amp had worked with two MSPs, and neither delivered what the business needed. Communication was patchy, ownership was unclear, and issues were often only half solved.
“Plenty of providers respond to tickets. Fewer take responsibility from start to finish without being chased.”
For Taylor, that created a constant drain on time. As the main internal owner of IT, he did not have the capacity to keep chasing tickets, manage suppliers and push projects over the line. It slowed things down, frustrated the team and added unnecessary risk in a business with high security and compliance standards.
What Learn Amp was looking for
Learn Amp wanted a partner that would take proper ownership from start to finish. That meant clear communication, dependable support, faster response and resolution times, and smoother onboarding and offboarding. Put simply, they wanted to feel confident that IT was in safe hands.
A more joined-up way of working
NVOY brought a more structured and joined-up approach to IT support, with a focus on fixing root causes rather than applying quick patches. Problems that had previously dragged on were dealt with much faster, and support became far more consistent.
Onboarding and offboarding also became much more reliable. Checklists were followed, licences were managed properly, accounts were disabled on time, and the whole process became tighter and more dependable.
“The difference in quality was night and day.”
NVOY also helped keep the wider security and infrastructure setup in good shape. Devices were enrolled under MDM, and tools such as VPN, XDR and MDR were properly configured and managed, in line with Learn Amp’s controls around SSO, access management and compliance.
A smoother handover, a stronger outcome
The move to NVOY was well handled from the outset. NVOY managed the onboarding end to end, worked directly with the previous MSP, and made sure the handover was completed properly. Things moved forward without Learn Amp having to push for updates.
The biggest change was confidence. Response and resolution times improved, IT felt more reliable across the business, and Taylor had more time to focus on bigger priorities. With NVOY in place, Learn Amp has greater confidence that its infrastructure, controls and support can keep up with growth.
More than just a supplier
Taylor describes NVOY as an extension of the team. That comes down to strong ownership, good communication and a clear understanding of the standards Learn Amp expects.
“They feel like an extension of our team.”
That is what has made the difference.
Ready for what comes next
As Learn Amp continues to grow, the focus remains on keeping security and operations well managed as the environment becomes more complex. NVOY’s role is to keep providing proactive support, clear communication and the ownership Learn Amp needs as it scales.
