What Challenges around IT were you facing before working with NVOY?

As we began to scale, growing 10/20% each quarter, we needed to ensure our internal processes were ‘maturing’ with our growth. Naturally as you grow, you start experiencing small problems that begin to arise – One thing leadership doesn’t want on their plate is to show a new stater how to set up laptop or help someone who’s been locked out of their device. We also needed to have Infosec policies in place and aspects like company devices for each person with the ability to remote wipe were becoming a necessity. We had a few instances where people nearly left laptops in bars and public transport – we got them back but if we hadn’t, there would have been a responsibility to report that to the ICO. Knowing this and actually implementing it are two very different things as it is a massive pain to manage internally while staying on top of everything as everyone’s very busy. We had situations like the CEO running out last minute to the shop to buy laptops. Not having these processes in place, means you can’t plan as well plus if you buy a machine that breaks, you don’t have any service to cover it efficiently and cost effectively. So, there was a strong need to start get the IT support and infrastructure set up fast to accommodate for our growth.

What Solutions did NVOY provide for you?

After SaaSLeads started working with NVOY, they were provided with a 360 solution that addressed exactly the challenges they were facing with their IT issues. By devising and implementing a roadmap strategy based around SaaSLeads IT requirements.

Starting with a fully managed service around device stockholding, asset management, purchasing and leasing – then ensuring these devices are set up with all the correct software and user accesses then delivering to the relevant person at the office or home. Also making sure they have MDM (Mobile Device Management) installed so that if a device is lost or stolen, then these can be remotely wiped/encrypted and meaning SaaSLeads are now fully compliant. They also have access to NVOY’s expertise in best practices alongside the 24-hour Tech support on a ticketing service

How have these solutions provided success?

An example of this is when we had a new starter who wanted to set up windows (which SaaSLeads don’t usually use) so we just pointed them towards NVOY and they sorted in an hour. So just looking at the business side, it’s a no brainer. It has greatly increased the possibilities of the things we can do, helping us grow. We’re now looking now at Virtual Desktops – opening up more secure ways to do business. Which we need considering the amount of data we’re processing with 40 students in each group with multiple groups a year from all over the world, we’re now assessing the next layer of security and oversight.
